Vision of Back To Acts

The action in the Book of Acts in the Bible gets into motion with a commandment from our Lord. “And while staying with them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me;” Acts 1: 4
“Back to Acts” is simply going “back to prayer”.

The spark
In the month of May 2011, the Lord birthed a clear direction in the heart of Evng. Shyju to gather God’s children to pray. Never having done something like that few friends got together to discuss the possibility of Back To Acts.
At the coffee day the Holy Spirit inspired the date, June 12 2011 to be the first day for BTA to be born. Later to all their pleasant surprise that day was none other than the Pentecostal Sunday and the Global day of prayer.
On June 11th, a set of young leaders got together to plan BTA and seek the Lord for what He desired for the city. (The moment recorded here) Over coffee, discussion, prayer and worship the Lord inspired, ignited our hearts to set out a new journey of prayer for our city and nation.
We do not believe that this is limited to Bangalore. We believe the Lord is doing the same all over the world, igniting hearts, drawing those whom He desires, to seek His face and fall in love with Him all over again.
