I did this all while I was a church-attendee, and supposed 'Christian' nice guy. It was a long battle to come to grips with my addiction. But my wife was supportive and forgiving...because that life of degradation has been wiped clean by a absolutely wonderful truth... that God changes people! Acting religious and being nice, does not cover your sin. Submitting to the will of Jesus Christ in child-like trust covers all sin! For the skeptics reading this: If Jesus of Nazareth did not exist...then please ignore all of the above. Just continue getting drunk, partying, swearing, abusing others, misusing your body, lusting with porn and gambling your pathetic life away on a 'maybe there's no God who judges such things'... But Death's clock does not stop my friend. It is a cursed timer embedded into every human body born since mankind ate from the tree of Death. You cannot fight it. You will die. That is a certainty. So with all the intellect that you can muster to debate your need of God; why is it that you cannot adequately answer the question: 'Why do humans die?' Until you come to grips with the fact that you cannot escape the Grave...your fear of death becomes a irritant that works on your lost soul which you hush up and clutter with material wants and philosophies and debates that never end...yet your clock ticks on because of the shear Grace of God waiting for you to run to Calvary...to the cross...that's all you have my friend.
