Very often I will have someone telling me not to imitate somebody else. Especially because of my admiration toward certain men of God.

Then recently I heard someone tell another young man the same thing.

And I pondered on that quite a bit.

How about Paul urging us to imitate him? 1 Corinthians 4:16, 1 Corinthians 11:1, Philippians 3:17

Could that be only his faith or would it include his passion, prayer, writing and preaching? Or for that matter, would Jesus have said, go find your own styles and don’t mimic Me? Continue Reading

Experiencing the Word of God, is the Power of the Spirit

Late Dr. Dhinakaran was a great General of God that India has seen till date. His life and ministry influenced millions of souls and many thousands of pastors.

Once while meeting a young leader, uncle asked him how much of the Word of God would he read daily.The young man quickly said three chapters a day and five chapters on a Sunday.

He gently replied, “Son, if you want to be used as a mighty man of God, you must read at least hundred pages of God’s word everyday.”
