Painless Delivery – A Myth or a Reality?

Here’s another post from a dear friend Mary Joseph, who shares her experiences on her delivery of her two son’s. You can read her previous post here.

After my first baby was born, I took four years before I took the plunge to have another baby. We were elated to hear that I was pregnant and mentally started preparing for the change. I went for a check up and confirmed that a baby was on its way. One day to my utmost dismay I saw blood – I was spotting. I panicked. I cried. It was late in the evening and a Sunday. There was nothing I could do, except wait till morning to find out what was happening. My husband had taken my older son out for swimming, I did not want to scare him so decided to wait.

In the meanwhile, Brother Shyju happen to call. I told him regarding the situation; we immediately prayed and hung up. When my husband came home, I informed him about my condition, he heard me quietly and then looked straight into my eyes and asked “So you think there is a problem? You think you have lost the baby?” Continue Reading

However, her mama is relentless in wrapping her again, and this time more carefully.

Mom took to mobile just few years back & manages to text message me anyhow.

People ask me often who my mentors are. I am certainly blessed to have many speak into my life but no one has taught me to pursue God like my mother does.

I’m 25 now. Married. Soon to be dad. 18years of ministry. Yet here’s one of those text messages she sent just recently while I was ministering in Canada. This partly explains my mom’s influence & how my ministry journey has been.

“Shyju and tiny how are you. I hope both are fine there. How is the meetings going. The only ones that are awake &go prayer will see the revival son. Where ever you are be with gods presence. Jesus prayed whole night without getting tired. Fix your focus on ministry son. I love you both sooooo much.”

I don’t need to explain further. I thank God for my parents.
I pray that we will be the same to our children. I pray that as a dad I won’t desire for anything more than an intimate relationship with God for all my children.
And I pray that God will raise more mothers like her.

The Baby at the Doorstep – Powerful Story & Free Download

While we were ministering to our dear friends in Bethel, Montreal, Canada, they sang a song that became my instant favourite. I sang it all day; it kept ringing in my head and I even woke up with that song.

rex and melissa take all of me
“Take all of me….” The theme of this song was etched on the inside of me. I later found out that this song was written by Rex Verzosa, one of the brothers from the church’s worship team. Rex and his wife are precious people, who are so committed to love God. The story behind the song is even more powerful!

And here it is in his own words. Fasten your seatbelts:
