What is Guarding The Heart (GTH):
The Bible says, “The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately sick; who can understand it?” (Jeremiah 17: 9). In Mark 7: 21-23, “For from within, out of the heart of man, come evil thoughts, sexual immorality, theft, murder, adultery, greed, malice, deceit, lewdness, envy, slander, arrogance and folly. All these evils come from inside and make a man ‘unclean.’”GTH focuses on helping believers to grow in the Lord and guard their heart from evil.

How It Began:
Guarding the Heart Blog began in 2008 as a platform for providing updates on Shyju’s ministry and life. As the GTH readership community grew the blog evolved into an intentional platform to motivate and empower the children of God with life-giving wisdom and strategies from His Word.
Frequency:
This blog features new content twice a week: “Thirsty Thursdays and Simple Sundays”.
Our Thursday posts cover a broad range of topics designed to assist you in your walk with God. From personal growth, maturity, leadership and the Church, to marriage and parenting; we have got you covered!
On Sundays, we post brief thoughts, striking images, food-for-thought videos, and the like.
Contributors:
Shyju does the majority of the writings for GTH and guest writers – from time to time – bring the best to the table. Do keep an eye out for special notices inviting the GTH community to submit ideas and write guest posts.
